City Dent Center is a Costa Rican specialty clinic that works with highly regarded and experienced professionals in all dental departments.

All our dentists in City Dent are SPECIALISTS in their areas. It is very important to check colegiodentistas.org if dentists who offer you the treatments are certified as specialists. This assures that a qualified professional can practice the dental work you desire.

Before giving a treatment plan and prices, we would like to get acquainted with your medical and dental history in order to provide an individualized treatment plan as well as a proposal and approximate budget that meets your needs. This will allow us to review your current dental/medical state to make an initial diagnosis that we can later complement once we are able to meet you personally.

Our clinic and staff operate with highly strict COVID-19 protocols, your safety is our priority and our professionals have made a promise to put your health first and to be there for you before, during and after the treatment. You can be sure that our specialists will guide you through the medical journey from start to finish.

“We would like to have your treatment in our hands”

Our Treatments

Dental Implants

Dental implants are surgically placed in both, the upper and lower jaws, whereas needed.

  • The duration of each surgery may depend of the condition and needs of each patient, but usually it can lasts around 45 minutes per implant.
  • After the surgery, the dental implant requires a time lapse of 6 up to 8 months to fuse with the bone, this is known as Osseo Integration. This is crucial in the process because it is necessary in order to avoid a body rejection to the implant.
All on 4
  • All-on-4 dental treatment is an advanced technique for restoring entire upper or lower missing teeth with fixed dentures supported by four implants.
  • It saves time and reduces discomfort associated with traditional implants. It’s an excellent option for patients that wear removable dentures or have lost their teeth due to gum disease, injury or other reasons.
All in 6
  • All-on-6 dental treatment is an advanced technique for restoring entire upper or lower missing teeth with fixed dentures supported by six implants.
Full Mouth Restorations

A treatment plan for a full mouth restoration may include some of the following procedures:

  • Crowns (pure porcelain, metal-porcelain or zirconium crowns).
  • Dental bridges.
  • Dental veneers.
  • Resins (tooth bonding).
  • Teeth whitening.
Surgery Procedures
Dental Implants

Dental implant surgery is a procedure that replaces tooth roots with metal, screwlike posts and replaces damaged or missing teeth with artificial teeth that look and function much like real ones. Dental implant surgery can offer a welcome alternative to dentures or bridgework that doesn't fit well and can offer an option when a lack of natural teeth roots don't allow building denture or bridgework tooth replacements.

How dental implant surgery is performed depends on the type of implant and the condition of your jawbone. Dental implant surgery may involve several procedures. The major benefit of implants is solid support for your new teeth — a process that requires the bone to heal tightly around the implant. Because this bone healing requires time, the process can take many months.

Sinus Lift and Bone Grafts

External (lateral window) approach

A sinus lift, also called sinus augmentation, is a procedure that makes it easier to place dental implants. Some patients need dental implants but have suffered bone loss, thus not having sufficient bone support necessary for implants. You can get the support you need by having a sinus augmentation.

This procedure increases the amount of bone in the upper jaw that is required for dental implants. This is one of the most common bone grafting procedures for dental implant patients.

Gum Surgery

"Gum Lift" To Enhance Your Smile

Before and After

If your gums rest too low or too high on your  teeth  and you are unhappy with your smile, you may be a candidate for  gum contouring  surgery. Also called gum reshaping or tissue sculpting, this cosmetic dental procedure can even out an uneven gum line and give you a smile you can be proud of.

Root Canal

Root canal treatment (endodontics) is a dental procedure used to treat infection at the centre of a tooth. Root canal treatment is not painful and can save a tooth that might otherwise have to be removed completely.

Root cana treatment also is necessary for restorative purposes.

Orthodontics
