A. Navigate Patient Journey's website and fill out our submission form. Other options include CALLING us at 305-799-6765, sending a WHATSAPP message, or using the CHAT feature on our website.

B. We will set up a video call with a qualified and certified specialist who will guide you, answer all your questions and eventually perform the procedure(s) you are looking for (no intermediaries). We have found this video call to be the most effective way to get to know each other, answer all your questions and eventually move forward. There is NO COST or commitment on your part for having this video call.

C. After all your medical questions have been addressed, you will receive a quote from the doctor tailored to your specific needs for your approval. Once approved, you will choose a date for your procedure.

D. You will also receive a list of suggested hotels near the clinic or hospital where your procedure(s) will be performed. This way you can directly book your lodging with your chosen hotel.

E. We will arrange for a private car to pick you up at the airport when you arrive to Costa Rica, and then back to the airport when you return home. The driver will speak your language.

F. You need to book your own flight to Costa Rica. You will most likely have to fly to San Jose, Costa Rica (airport code: SJO). There may be some cases in which you would fly to Liberia, Costa Rica (airport code: LIR), but we would know this ahead of time so you can book your flight to the right airport.

G. A personal local nurse/companion can be arranged if patient so desires (associated costs will be provided for your approval).

H. Patients will have access to a large network of post-procedure clinics, hospitals and rehab centers upon their return home.

I. Health provider(s) will remain readily available to patients after they have left Costa Rica for any question and/or concerns.

Patient Journey is not an intermediary between patients and healthcare providers in Costa Rica. We connect you directly. Your treatment plan estimate will be the same whether you connect through Patient Journey or directly to any healthcare provider in Costa Rica, who is part of the Patient Journey Network of Healthcare Providers.
